I made this yesterday in my slow cooker while I was at work, 8 hours on low. It turned out great, but it was even better as leftovers the next day! Next time I will cook it overnight, then refrigerate during the day and reheat for dinner. I made the recipe exactly as stated except I used a smaller package of ranch dressing, about half the size. My husband hates ranch, and I didn't tell him there was any in it before I made it. The end product didn't taste like ranch at all, but it may if you use the full size packet. Also, I added a rotel size can of water, and it ended up being too watery, so next time I will add just maybe 1/4 cup water to help mix up the spice packets. Thanks!!

Oh my goodness! I just made this for dinner for my husband and me. It is so, so good! It's almost like a tex-mex chilli! We are in love and it will definitely be a keeper in our house! I did add a little cayenne pepper, but could have probably gone without it since our taco seasoning mix was "hot".
