The family definitely enjoyed this! After reading the reviews, I doubled the amount of sauce and had the meat in the crockpot for about 6.5hrs on low-the chops came out perfect. The only thing I will do differently next time is use low sodium soy sauce only because the one I used made the dish a bit too salty

I agree with two of the other reviews, the meat was very dry. I followed the recipe exactly. I would have liked more sauce to spoon over the rice. Next time I might try on the stove instead of the crockpot.

Family loved the dish! Mine didn't look as professional when it was done, the sauce wasn't as thick but it was still super yummy!

Definitely will be making this again!

I followed the recipe to the letter, and it smelled awesome, but my pork chops ended up dry, and I wished there was more sauce even though I did add extra red wine. I am seeing all these great reviews and am jealous! I wonder what I could do differently, I really want to like these!

I have to say, i was really looking forward to making this. I bought bone in thick cut pork chops and cooked them in my slow cooker for 8 hours. The flavor was amazing, however the meat wasnt as tender as I had hoped. The meat closest to the bone was very tender and succulent, but the rest of the meat was dry! I might try this with some short ribs next time!

In the slow cooker now. But, I already tasted it and wow is it good !! Thank You so much for this. I am always looking for a different way to do chops. By the way, I used thick boneless chops.

I made these last week, they were delicious!! I used boneless center cut chops- they were so tender and yummy!! Next time I would probably use a bit less soy, it was a smidge salty for my taste.

I finally made this and I am so glad I did! I saw this recipe quite awhile back and thought it sounded good, but I have never put pork chops in my crock pot and I don't see the thick cut pork chops at our local store very often. I saw some today, on sale no less and knew just what I was going to try with them. I forgot I needed red wine and didn't have any at home either, so I used some regular grape juice and a few splashes of balsamic vinegar, also didn't have anymore red pepper flakes so I just sprinkled in a little cayenne pepper. My son and husband both loved it and I will be making these again.

These were INCREDIBLE! I was pretty skeptical about putting pork chops in a slow cooker - all I could think was that they'd end up dry/chewy but that was not the case. Will definitely make this again! Thanks
