I was super excited about this based on the reviews. I got all the ingredients ready and set them out for my husband. He cooked it all up. I asked him how it turned out and he said it was REALLY salty. The kids and him could hardly take more than a couple bites. I'm not sure what happened. Oh well.

I agree with the previous reviewer, that this dish has a nice, complex taste. I substituted some of the ingredients for items I had in my pantry (apple cider vinegar instead of white wine vinegar, olive oil instead of sesame oil), but the taste was still great. My beef was a little dry, but I left it in the crockpot for more like 9-10 hours, because I work full-time and have a long commute.

This was super-easy and REALLY good! My hubby said it tasted like the best take-out! I didn't have some of the ingredients on hand, so I subbed some items in, etc. - but it was REALLY good - thanks!

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when I approached this recipe; I couldn't imagine making good Mongolian Beef at home, especially in a slow cooker. How wrong I was! This recipe is fantastic: Simple to make, and the beef has a complex, rich flavor with a nice kick to it. My family scarfed down every bite and are already asking me when I'll be making it again.

I made this for my family yesterday. My husband says it is superliscious delicious! Oh, and "it's a keeper". (We kinda liked it). I might use half of the soy sauce it calls for and a little more peanut butter for less salty and more peanut sauce taste, but it really is a great asian sauce recipe. I had some this morning for breakfast...mmmMMMM awesome heated up the next day!
