I used it as a jumping off point. I browned a pound of hamburger and added all the other ingredients on top in the crock pot. Used one can of diced tomatoes with jalapeno, and one can of plain diced tomatoes instead of the green chile ones, and chicken stock instead of water, and used medium salsa. Garnished with a little grated cheese and a dollop of sour cream. Very delicious!
