I just joined TK today, and I was looking for a recipe with ground beef where I could use up some leftover bread buns. This fit the bill perfectly! In an effort to make it a slightly healthier dish, I used 4 eggs and 4 egg whites. I also used 2 cups of skim canned milk; and, as mentioned earlier, I used 8 bread buns, and these were whole wheat. I put a topping of low fat cheese slices on the top, and sprinkled some dry chives over the top for garnish. Just as a note, my bread mixture only sat for about 30 minutes while I cooked my meat, and it came out great. This dish is easy and yummy. Perfect for a brunch or potluck. A definite make again.
