I’m sad to have to say this, but I need to clarify being a Cypriot I must ! This is not Cypriot kleftico ! Cypriot kleftico is made using whole leg or shoulder lamb traditionally! And the herbs and spices used are oregano garlic rosemary bay leaf black pepper olive oil fresh lemon juice and fry white wine for the liquid. Coriander is not used cinnamon is a later addition by some modern recipes but then you would need to leave out the rosemary and oregano, because they would clash. You could call this a slow roasted lamb dish ! But not a Cypriot kleftico! Otherwise this is the same thing as putting pineapple on Italian pizza!
