I use a big can of chicken (saves a bunch of time) or leftover chicken. I put egg noddles in the bottom of the pan then pour the chicken mixture then the crackers.

If you want an easy side dish you can mix more sour cream and cream of mushroom soup together and put that with some frozen hash-browns cover with cheese and bake the same time.
