Things that I do a bit differently: I marinate the chicken in the yogurt (I always use greek yogurt) and bake it vs broil it, at 400 for 30 minutes. I add some roasted cashews and raisins to my rice, because that is how I&#039;ve had it at Indian restaurants before and we love the little extra kick. I also add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste (+/-) and that brightens up the sauce a bit and thickens it.]]></description>

My boyfriend appreciated the lack of coconut milk, a flavor he doesn&#039;t like. Yes, the recipe is complicated for those new in the kitchen or those who can&#039;t mutlitask, but if you can, add this to your recipe box, save it for a rainy day, and make it. It&#039;s wonderful! My boyfriend couldn&#039;t stop raving about it, shared his leftovers with others at work, and turned people on to the nirvana of this dish. Thanks to Ree and Pastor Ryan!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I loved this! The only things I did differently: I let the chicken marinate in the yogurt (I used Greek) and herbs for almost 4 hours before broiling. It came out so tender and flavorful.

On the rice, I used my rice cooker, and because Basmati rice can be more finicky, and because my rice cooker does not have a specific setting for Basmati, this is how I prepared it, and it came out perfectly:

- 1 cup Basmati Rice (rinsed, not soaked)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 capfuls of Sesame Oil
- Used &quot;white rice&quot; setting

Once the rice was finished cooking, I opened it up, let some of steam escape, and let it rest on warm for another 5 minutes or so. It was delicious. I would recommend testing some small batches of Basmati rice in your rice cooker beforehand; all cookers -and rice brands- are going to cook a little differently.]]></description>
