We used regular Hormel chili and this was a home run success! I love how the buns, despite all of the gooey cheese and sloppy chili, came out crispy and delicious. The only downside is that I was cooking for two and I didn't downsize the recipe at all, but that's totally my fault. Really loved this approach to making chili dogs - only one pan to clean up! We used Oscar Meyer's all natural smoked and uncured hotdogs, half were the New York garlic seasons and half were the Chicago tomato/dill/onion seasoned. Great recipe, thanks for sharing!
