So good! I’ve made these several times since I found this recipe several years ago. My family is extremely picky and they really loved them. I noticed parmesean cheese has been added to the updated recipe, but I’m unsure if it’s suppose to be a topping later or included when mixing the meatballs. These meatballs take a little more time that you would think, but they are very worth it!

I noticed this recipe changed slightly since I printed it a couple years ago. Where does the addition of the paremesean cheese come in? On top of the finished meatballs or included when mixing with the meat?

these were ridiculously delicious.
i LOVE crockpot recipes where you don’t have to mess with browning meat first– so used option 1– and they were PERFECT.

I made these this evening … we thought they were very good. I prepared them earlier in the day and kept them in the refrigerator until I was ready to brown them and serve them for dinner. I would try them in the crockpot sometime, just didn’t need to today. The taste was delicious and the kids loved them. They all went back for seconds and were fighting over who got the last couple.

These were so easy and so yummy! I loved them and boyfriend did too once he got over the surprise of there being cheese in the middle. I’m sure I’ll be making these again and soon!

I’m sorry, but we just didn’t really care for these. The cheese melted out, and the meatballs were just too big. I’m not sold on the seasonings either. If I did them again, I would do them in the crockpot. That might help with them falling apart in a frying pan. Thanks for the recipe, but I’m still on the search for our favorite meatball recipe!

I made them tonight. The mozza leaked out a bit on a few of my balls, but they were delicious nonetheless.

I was able to form the balls rather speedily. I used a medium sized Pampered Chef cookie scoop to scoop the meat mixture, and just poked the cheese inside, patting the ball closed with a finger. I barely got my hands dirty!

Great recipe!
