I just found this over the weekend and cooked it last night. My son said it was “AMAZING” and my DIL said “Dinner was delicious! Thanks for cooking.” Yes, I will fix this again and again. Thank you!

This was great. I made it for a large group, so I tripled the amount and made it in 9×13 and 8×8 dishes. Worked great, there was only one little piece left at the end of the night and lots of praise! I couldn’t get ground pork, so I just bought some pork shoulder and ground it up myself, old school style, along with the onions. And instead of crushing crackers I just used a smaller amount of multigrain baby cereal (weird, I know, but we always have some for the baby and it’s a great substitute in meatloaf and meatballs).

Was looking for a new meatloaf recipe to try. I made this last night and the whole family loved it! Unfortunately I did not have sage, but will try adding that next time. I only had a “small” Vadalia onion, which you know is never truly small, but added the whole thing. Lots of onion, but the family said not to decrease the onion as we all love onions! The meatloaf was moist and very flavorful. Loved the sauce and will give thought of how to get more on the meatloaf next time!
Am intrigued about making it in muffin tins. Are we talking the small tins cup size or the large muffin cup size? If recipe serves six, I would think large muffin size, Would appreciate any feedback!
We will definitely be added this recipe to our favorites. Thanks!

I had given up on meatloaf, having not found a recipe I liked. Upon Husband’s request I went searching for a good recipe again. So glad to have found one! This is delicious and moist with great flavor that isn’t too ketchupy or soggy.

Excellent meatloaf – the glaze was super! I used giant muffin cups – made 6. Other differences – I didn’t have any sage, so I skipped it. Also, I used two lbs of hamburger rather than one each of pork and hamburger. I’ll definitely make it again! Thank you!

I have made this meatloaf twice and both times it was a hit with my picky kids. It is so nice and moist and has a fantastic flavor.

My husband said this was the best meatloaf I had ever made. Meatloaf is only good if you can make a cold meatloaf sandwich the next day…but the family ate it all so no leftovers. So I will double the recipe next time. Also, I was in a bit of a hurry so I put this into a muffin tin; they were just the right serving sizes for everyone. It only tookabout 20-25 minutes that way! Great recipe!
