The onions really added a lot to the flavor of the lentils, and the veggies really jazzed up this dish. We couldn’t decide if we liked the lentils better with or without the mustard, so I split the batch and made some of each. I didn’t add the wine at all, but the recipe turned out just fine. This will be a repeat dish at my house.

I’m trying to eat more lentils (for budget and diet reasons), and this recipe was perfect. The mustard adds a really great flavor. I liked it so much that I added way more than the recipe called for; I just squirted and tasted until I was happy with it. I’ll definitely be making this again!
