It was bitter and the artichokes did not taste like artichokes. I amy try cutting back on the lemon and adding some chicken stock, but no one in our family could eat this.

It smelled fabulous while cooking. Unfortunately, the end result was very disappointing. The artichokes were incredibly bitter from all of the lemon, making them virtually inedible and the first couple bites of chicken seemed good, but as you continued to try and eat it, each bite became more and more bitter. The after taste was even worse. No one in my family could even get through a quarter of the meal (family of 5) and we had to order a pizza.
