I’m looking forward to making these, now that I’ve found a supplier of fresh ground Lamb. I have loved Gyros at Pathanon’s in Madison WI, now since relocating, I don’t have a Gyro place up to their level close to my present home.

These were incredible! My husband and I loved them and my 3 yr old even loved the meat. Great recipe and very simple. The meat was perfectly moist and I even cooked up the loaf the day before, left it in the pan and sliced it up the next day for dinner. Will make this again and again!

The flavor is all there, but mine turned out a little dry. I poured off a lot of the grease after I took the loaf out of the oven since I was freaked out by that much liquid. Maybe this was a mistake.
