Thanks again Ree!!!

I made this but was concerned that my picky eater spouse might not like all the noodles it calls for. I used a half bag of noodles & broke them in half. Also, did not have turmeric so I used curry and used low salt chicken broth to boil the chicken instead of the water. I also softened the veggies in 1 Tbsp. butter so they weren't so crunchy in the soup. Next time to decrease the fat content, I would be more careful with skimming fat from the stock.

Delicious!! Have tried it with and without onion. Will always use the onion! It is super easy and definitely a cold weather favorite!

This recipe is delicious! Have made twice now and it is a keeper - I cut a few corners and use a carton of chicken broth and chicken tenderloins instead of cooking a whole chicken and removing the bones. I also skip the turmeric because that is not an ingredient I keep on the shelf. This soup comes out creamy, delicious, and seasoned to perfection!

This recipe is divine WITH some tweaking, in my opinion. To make the dish the thickness I desired, I used 3 QTS water instead of 4, and I ended up adding add'l salt and turmeric and threw in a few chicken bouillon cubes too for some more flavor. (I didn't have any chicken base on hand.) Just taste the broth as you go, and you can adjust to personal taste. The end result was so delicious! Will definitely be making this again.

This is our family's new favorite Chicken Noodle Soup recipe! Thanks Ree! Love the flavors! I used a rotisserie chicken - so skipped creating my own broth and used organic Chicken Stock instead. Used a little olive oil in pot with mirepoix, added broth, seasonings and then added shredded chicken. Loved the Reames Egg noodles - such a comfort! Tumeric had me skeptical - but now I am believer! Love this soup!

yum! I was worried at first, since it seemed more like chicken noodle soup. But i put it in the fridge for a few hours, then heated it back up on the stove, and wallah! It got thick and creamy. I had never boiled a whole chicken before, very cool! Thanks, Ree! My whole family loved it. XOX

True comfort in a bowl! This recipe is a keeper and I plan to make it quite often this winter. It is not a week night dinner as it takes some time to prepare, but it is worth the wait.

This is a GREAT recipe! I make this about once a week now, per the request of my boyfriend. I use a rotisserie chicken instead of cooking my own (saves me time). I de-meat the already-cooked rotisserie chicken (setting the meat aside until later) and toss a few of the larger bones into a chicken broth/water mixture (about 4 quarts of liquid total) to boil while I prepare the rest of my ingredients. I'm not sure if the bones add to the flavor of the broth or not, but I'm hoping so! I then carry on with the rest of the recipe. I use the Reames flat, square dumplings instead of the noodles. I also end up using more flour/water mixture to make the consistency the way we like it (thick!!). Awesome results - every time.

This is twice I've made this and with the same sloppy results. This really needs adjusted. 4 quarts of water is just entirely too much. I did 3 quarts this time and even with extra carrots, onion and celery, it was still too soupy. It just does not cook down in the time alotted to make it look like Ree's picture. Do yourself a favor and do half the amount of water to start with. You can always add TO but you cannot take away. Even thickening it up, the water measurements as is are just way too much. Flavors are good though...tumeric is genius.
