This was "Okay." I made it in my crockpot - would reduce soy sauce amount next time as I only had regular not reduced sodium. At 5 hours in crockpot, I poured off most liquid and reduced it on stove in a saucepan, shredded chicken and added a can of pineapple chunks (minus liquid) - once liquid reduced I added a little corn starch mixed with water to thicken further. Added a bit to the crockpot - but saved balance for individuals to add to their meals. In final half hour, I sliced up a yellow pepper into thin strips and added it to the crockpot. Served over rice. (Added a side of Hawaiian Coleslaw - found recipe online) and enjoyed dinner.

Quick & simple in the slow cooker. I was worried my husband (a picky eater) wouldn't like the sweet flavors on the chicken but all sauce ingredients mingled well together & nothing was too overpowering. Delicious! Thank you!

Was loved by kids and adults alike! I didn't have low sodium soy sauce, so I used regular. My hubby thought it was a bit too salty so I will be sure to follow instructions next time! Thanks for sharing!

Wow! My husband and I LOVED this. We are constantly going to a little Hawaiian diner in our neighborhood for a dish that's nearly identical to this. Now I can make it at home. Thanks for a great recipe!

Very juicy and flavorful. More time consuming than I thought, but makes the chicken really tasty. I think addition of pineapple pieces is a great idea!

This recipe was easy to make. I just threw everything in the Crock Pot and. Served it over steamed rice. The chicken was very tasty. No one particular flavor over powered another. It is a good blend of spices. I think next time I might throw in some pineapple pieces toward the end.
