Description

This easy ground beef stroganoff recipe is healthy, ready in 30 minutes, filled with mushrooms and delicious seasonings, and only uses real ingredients—no soups!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ½  Onion, Diced
  • ½ Tablespoons Smoked Paprika
  • ½ Tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 8 ounces, weight Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ cups Sour Cream

Preparation

In a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat, brown ground beef and season with salt to taste. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Add diced onions and seasonings to the skillet. Sauté until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until soft, about 5 more minutes.

Add beef broth, Worcestershire, and ground beef back to the pan and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Add sour cream and stir to combine. Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper if necessary.

Serve with cauliflower rice or spiralized zucchini noodles.
