This is the only way I eat bologna… started when I was about six or so… I had to push a chair up to the stove because I liked to make them myself. Once, years later, when we went to a Lebanese restaurant they had grilled bologna as one of the appetizers!

I make fried bologna sandwiches for my kids…2 slices of bologna, on soft white bread with mayo. Yum! They love them!

Oh Dax, my dad would make this for us, too when we were little… In looking at your profile, I see that you grew up in Indiana…I’m a Hoosier, also. (Indianapolis, now) Dad grew up in the south of the state, Bloomfield area. My hubby also has fond memories of this “comfort, artery clogging” food… ha ha
