This simple recipe is SO simple I was cautious about how good it was going to be. Until I took my first bite. These sandwiches are perfect.

What I did differently; I marinated that flank steak with steak seasoning and olive oil for a few hours. I also added pepper jack cheese to one of the loaves for the dairy fans. (Just melted it in the oven)

Everyone loved them!

These were incredibly good! Every person in the fam enjoyed them...TFS this recipe, tidymom! =) I was looking for something to do with leftover steak I had after a dinner party and this was a perfect fit...definitely going into my permanent recipe file. I'm not a margarine user, but butter substituted just fine and the sauce was just enough to make the sandwich moist, but not overly greasy....yum!
