I added shredded chicken. Good thing my kids were familiar with and liked the ingredients because the appearance was a little off putting when dished onto a plate. Next time I will make these with homemade refried beans as the canned were a little on the salty side. Then I think they will be 5 mitts.

Still, I’ll keep this in mind! It was definitely tasty. I filled mine with shredded chicken that had been cooked in chili verde.
