]]> https://tastykitchen.com/recipes/main-courses/easy-peasy-shepherde28099s-pie/?review_page=1#review-75791 Sun, 28 Aug 2011 02:41:07 +0000 https://tastykitchen.com/recipes/?p=99276#comment-75791 We loved this recipe!  I lightened it considerably by using ground turkey, light sour cream, and skim milk.  I also seasoned the meat with a clove of fresh, chopped garlic and season salt (no onion).  I used about 1/2 a stick of butter when whipping the potatoes with a mixer and added milk, sour cream, salt/pepper to taste.  I added a jar of sliced mushrooms to green beans.  Next time, my husband would like more meat and veggies.  He requested corn and peas, maybe some cooked carrot chopped small.  He likes it without cheese but I like it with cheese.  We both agreed that it’s good either way.  It’s a definite keeper – thank you!
