I didn’t have any nutmeg, mustard or goldfish crackers (used crushed croutons instead), but it was still fabulous! It’s very creamy and rich, stick-to-your-bones kind of macaroni. I also added some white mushrooms into the mix before I popped it into the oven – gave the whole dish a nice subtle and smooth flavour. YUM. Will definitely make this again. Maybe next week!
