Even my pickest eater ate it all! I don't buy Bisquick, so I doubled a recipe on m.wikihow.com for "Make a Substitute for Bisquick" and added about 1 1/3 c. milk. Going to try it with cornbread on top next time. Thanks!

Very easy and very good. I made it in a 10" Dutch oven. We used 9 coals on the bottom and 15 on the top. Cooked for 55 minutes but will probably cut it down to 45 minutes next time. Everybody loved it.

I actually made this the other night using Paula Deen's recipe (exactly the same minus the poultry seasnoning). It was fabulous and oh so easy to make!! I used a large can of mixed vegetables (green beans, peas, carrots, potatoes, corn) drained, added in about a 1/2tsp of thyme, and used bisquick mix. Super fast to put together and the whole family loved it! Thank you for posting it here!!

I made this for our dinner tonight! The taste is wonderful and it is very easy!!

My only watch out is that it took 60 minutes to cook at 375 degrees. At 40 min at 350 degrees itwas still very gooey. Not a big deal at all.

Oh and in my case, it only fed the three of us but hey, my husband and son both had double helpings. :) It was that good!!

Lastly, I used canned chicken and so this was really a very affordable meal!! Thanks!!
