It doesn’t replace traditional pot pie, and in fact would be disappointing if that’s what you’re after. BUT, it is a unique pie, and recipients are always (pleasantly) surprised.

We made 14 pies yesterday in my mom’s group. It was delicious, and even the kids loved it! We added some potatoes to the mix too. This was also easy to make into a vegetarian dish using vegetable stock and no chicken.
