I really enjoyed the taste of this dish however it came out way overcooked. Would you be able to provide a few more details such as how long the pork needs to be cooked for and what temperature (low/med/high)? I had it on a medium-high temperature and cooked it for 4 minutes each side and it was burnt. And also, did you lower the temperature to simmer it? I simmered it at the same temperature as I used to cook it (medium-high) and the sauce got super thick and burnt. I didn't even have to put the water and corn starch because it was so thick already. Amazingly, it still tasted awesome even though it looked completely inedible and was definitely overcooked.

I didn't think this recipe was all that great. The flavor was kind of bland, like a bland sweet and sour sauce. It was easy, though, so that was nice. I don't plan on making it again.

I only tried this recipe because I had gotten a fabulous deal on pork chops. I don't typically like pork chops and I don't drink beer, so I was really skeptical if I would like this. But I'm an experimenter, so I gave it a try... and LOVED it! I totally recommend this recipe for people that aren't pork or beer lovers! The sauce reminded me of sweet and sour sauce. I used thin boneless pork chops and it was done in about 32 minutes. For the beer, I used New Belgium's Fat Tire Amber Ale and it didn't make the recipe bitter at all. Totally delicious and perfect with rice!

My family LOVE this recipe! Including my father, who is notoriously hard to please. In fact, he's the one who requests this the most. Thanks for a family-pleasing recipe!

These were so good! I had one Newcastle beer leftover from when my brother in law was here and it worked great. I got the highest (unsolicited) compliment from my husband, "I'd like to see that again for dinner." Kids both liked it too. Also very easy to make!

This was sooo good...a recipe to keep and use over and over. Mash potatoes is definitely the best partner for these chops. If you make them exactly as the recipe states they are sweet, tangy and tender!!

This was a big hit. I loved it and so did everyone else. I ended up using a little more cornstarch. I also used Sam Adam's Black lager. A friend of mine said the saw tasted also Asian. I will definitely make this again. Oh and I paired them with PW's garlic mashed potatoes. HEAVEN!
