I last did this when I had several leftover pieces of meat — stew meat, stir fry meat, and a nearly-freezer-burned steak.

And I second the need to use a griddle when you’re food-processing the beef, it doesn’t hold together as well.

It was so tasty. I made a couple of thinner burgers and one really thick one. They tasted so good and so juicy. The thinner ones definitely tasted like the burgers they used to make in diners.
