Mom called it lokshen and cheese, but that’s Yiddish. I don’t know if it helps. I still eat it when I need something warm and good.

I have been making “Cottage Cheese and noodles” all of my married life. I use skinny egg noodles and when they are cooked, I drain them and add butter and cottage cheese. When I tell him I’m making this dish–he croons! He likes pickled beets on the side!
