All three of my picky little ones loved these. I also sliced some on top of an salad with a dijon mustard vinegrette. Delicious dinner for the whole family!

Something must have gone terribly wrong when I made these last night! I was really excited about these because they seemed simple and had gotten such great reviews from everyone. I followed the directions, but my tenders didn’t get that crispy and and the coating came off as we were trying to eat them. Flavor was kind of blah. I don’t know what happened to mine, but I don’t think I’ll try them again.

My kids hate nuts (or think they do), so after toasting the almonds, I put them through a food processor. Kids didn’t know what was in them! They are great!

So delicious! And the whole family loves them. Especially cold the next day I made the recipe as is the first time, but the 2nd, 3rd, 4th… I instead just dipped the chicken in honey mustard salad dressing and we loved them even more (if that’s at all possible!).

I double the recipe and can get through almost 6 chicken breasts before running out of sauce and breading. I also cut the chicken into bite size pieces (actually two-bite) instead of strips.
