		<description><![CDATA[Made this for my in-laws and was sooo nervous because they have their own recipe for this that is delicious as well but they loved this version too.  The meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned by the kraut, apples and onions.  My husband is already asking for this again!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[My family has made a similar recipe for many years.  We use boneless pork ribs.  We don&#039;t brown them.  We just salt and pepper them, put them in the crockpot, and layer the onions and apples on top.  Pour over the kraut (If it looks dry, I add a little water) and turn the crockpot on.   It&#039;s great served right on top of mashed potatoes.   Sounds weird, but it tasted great!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I have made a dish similar to this one:  I put the sauerkraut, apples and onions on the bottom of the pot and cover it with a generous handful or two of brown sugar.  I then place the pork roast on top and let it cook for 3 hours on top of the stove.  You can use spare ribs as well, and it really is delicious.  In fact, I am making this tomorrow since it has been really cold here in NJ this weekend.  It&#039;s a great fall/winter dish.]]></description>
