I was looking today for a recipe that filled for my requirements of ease and items I had on hand. Truth be told I had to go to the store for a few items, but I did have the majority of ingredients on hand.

I didn't have a beautiful pan pictured on the recipe by Sara, but I used my Dutch oven and it worked well. I didn't change anything from the recipe BUT had no idea what "Spike Gourmet Seasoning" may consist of, so I used onion powder, garlic powder and some Cajun seasoning.

The consensus of the family was a big YUM! It is definitely going into my high five, make it again recipe box! It was flavorful without being cloying or overly rich! I could have eaten several plates full! I couldn't find orecchiette pasta but used Barilla Collezione. Perfecto! I love cheese and may add more next time. But that is me.

Thank you,Sara for such a wonderful recipe!
