My husband loves cranberries so I thought that he would like this. He loved it! I pretty much made the recipe as written except I substituted homemade cranberry sauce for the canned sauce. We've been making this cranberry sauce for years and I knew it would be prefect for this recipe---from epicurious.com. When I made the sauce, I used all the liquid from the roast, which was more than 2 cups, and reduced it to the amount used in the recipe. It was awesome! This recipe was a huge hit and I'll definitely be making it again. It was very easy to make and my family loved it. Thanks for writing such a great slow cooker recipe.

My store didn't have a rolled roast so I used some other kind of pork loin roast. It was a tiny bit tough; I don't know if a rolled roast would have worked better. But it was delicious. I used orange juice instead of water to make the gravy and it added a little extra zing.
Oh, and the leftovers sat in gravy overnight and were much more tender. I just had them for lunch... yum!!!

The meat is delicious. I will definitely make this again, and my friend's husband who ate with us asked me to give his wife the recipe. The gravy wasn't our favorite. It came out (obviously) somewhat fruit flavored but not really in a pleasant way and no one ate it. But again, delicious roast that will go in my regular rotation.
