My family really enjoyed this dish. I didn’t put the chicken on skewers because I was hungry and lazy. The taste of the chicken and the sauce was very good. I served it over rice and we really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing.

Definitely worth making and it was pretty simple. Adding cornstarch at the end definitely helped thicken the sauce just make sure to dissolve it in a little water before adding to the rest of the gravy so it doesn’t clump up.

I made this last night for my hubby and I – we both really liked it! It’s very easy, and skewering the chicken makes it easier to turn in the pan (and you definitely want it in little pieces, so there are more surfaces coated in the fried goodness!). Be sure to only simmer the chicken for 15 – 20 minutes; and I went ahead and thickened the sauce with a little cornstarch at the end to make a nice sauce/gravy for over the rice. Thanks for sharing!

This was delightful. I made it for a baby shower and everyone raved about how delicious it was. It was easy to make the night before and then I just heated it up in a casserole dish before the party the next day. Thanks for posting.

Sometimes when I walk around my neighborhood, I smell wonderful food smells and wonder what people are having for dinner. Tonight, that wonderful smell is coming from my house thanks to this recipe. Oh so delicious and easy!

OMG!! I did not have huge expectations for this meal. Was I wrong! The simple ingredients and the WONDERFUL flavor of this dish is unbelieveable. Not much work but what a result!

I think you all are absolutely right…the longer simmer time is for when I make this recipe with pork. With the chicken I usually do let it simmer for less time. Sorry for the confusion with that! So glad you are all enjoying it!

Made this for a quick dinner tonight and even my picky ones ate it! However, after browning the chicken, I only let it simmer the 20 minutes it took my rice to cook. My cubes weren’t too thick and I knew it wouldn’t need as long to cook the chicken through. I also ended up adding a little cornstarch to the gravy, after I removed the skewers, to thicken it up. Will definitely be a regular meal in my home!

This is fabulous! I haven’t even served it up yet, just finished making it, but I might eat it all before anyone else gets a chance to try it! I also didn’t skewer the chicken because I didn’t have any, but still turned out terrific. Now if I can just get it plated before I gobble it all up!! Thanks for the terrific recipe!
