I buy usually a half shank ham that has been smoked, but has no glaze and that you need to cook before serving. I was referring to the half you just have to warm and then serve that come with that glaze packet.

This sounds amazing….if you’re not buying a store bought cooked ham….what are you buying ??
I thought uncured fresh ham was just a large piece of pork (like a pork chop.)
Where would I find a fresh cured raw ham that must be cooked ??
