This was really good, but I couldn’t get my sauce to thicken with just the cheese. It clumped up. Any suggestions?

Hey Tonya, it was so yummy. Will be making this again and again. We ate it with white rice and steamed veggies added.
My hubbyis from Mexico and loves a little spice so he really liked the kick from the jalapeno. Thanks again.

Lolita, You are bacially going to use the lime juice to help get all those yummy bits off your pan after you are done sauteeing your jalapeno and garlic. Hope you LOVE it!

I’m a novice…what does “deglaze the pan with lime juice” mean? Thanks I bought all the ingredients to make this but I’m not sure what this step means.

Great recipe idea, thank you! I chop and freeze fresh cilantro…..it would work really well in this recipe.
