My mother has been making this recipe since I was a little girl, which was a long time ago. :) She always seared her pork chops in a little oil to brown them up before putting them in the crock pot. Also, she used Cream of Mushroom soup instead of chicken. And she always served this with baked sweet potatoes and some kind of green vegetable or salad. To this day, nothing tastes more like home to me than this dish. :)

This is like my grandma's recipe, except you bread the pork chops then give them a quick pan fry on both sides to give them a little crust, and then use chicken and rice soup, i buy the big can. These are soooooo yummy over rice, and filling for the boys!
