I made a few changes basically dealing with what I had on hand. Used the sheet crescent rolls cut into 4 pieces. Used leftover garden veggie spreadable cream cheese so omitted the butter and milk inside. Used 2 cups leftover chicken chopped. This was enough chicken to fill the pouches well but I didn't have to struggle to seal them. And added 1 tablespoon chopped chives also. These were easy to whip together and could lead to endless variations of cheese type used and adding veggies as some suggested! Next time I will add some chopped sweet red pepper.

I made these over the weekend, and they were absolutely delicious! In case this helps anyone, although the serving size says 4, between my fiance and I, we ate all four (granted my fiance ate a leftover half later in the evening). Altogether though, this will definitely be one of my "go-to" meals. Thanks for sharing!

Great addition to our menus!

I do agree on the portions though. We have 5 in our family so I decided to double the receipe (8 breast halves). It was a good thing that I had forgotten I had already purchased crescent rolls and had bought another batch because I had enough filling for 4 tubes of crescent rolls! Not bad at all because we hadyummy leftovers :)

We loved this recipe! I do think it bears clarifying that the recipe says "2 whole Chicken breasts", but that would be 4 breast halves and honestly that is just too much meat to fit in the four portions. After my first attempt to make these, I had way too much chicken for the crescent rolls. The second time, I did only 2 medium-large breast halves and it was the perfect amount for the filling. The second time I also added half a package of thawed frozen chopped spinach. That really took the recipe up a notch. I might try chopped broccoli next time. We'll be enjoying this recipe often!

I did a small change after the first batch, I used cream of chicken soup instead of all cream cheese - my husband isn't a HUGE fan of cream cheese, so it worked better for us.

Otherwise, this is a GREAT recipe and easy to make. Very much enjoyed it.
