I made this for dinner tonight, and discovered that if I were to make it again, I would do 2 things differently...

1. I would definitely not consider this a casserole to be eaten by itself. I should have made pasta to go along with it, as it doesn't seem to be "filling" enough to warrant being a meal by itself (just my opinion).

2. I would have eased up a lot on the salt! I used Lawry's, garlic powder, salt, and pepper...and when combined with the salty taste of the soup and in the chicken, it was overpoweringly (is that a word?) salty! So I'd definitely skip the salt, and just stick to the Lawry's, garlic powder and pepper.

All in all, a pretty decent recipe! My husband loved it and had seconds!

I made this last night, but used what I had on hand, which meant cream of celery soup and no Lawry's. I added lemon pepper (with garlic, onion, etc. included) and a little bit of curry since we like things with a little more "zing." I looked through several other chicken casserole recipes before deciding on this one since the ingredients were the simplest. The timing in the recipe was spot-on, and my husband loved it!
