I made this tonight and it was really good. I had everything on hand which was great! Although I was careful about the salt and used the low sodium seasoning and didn't salt my water and I ended up adding salt because it was too bland. It was super rich but that was to be expected. Family ate it up! Thanks for a great quick go to meal!

I can't wait to make this! I'm wondering though, do you mean 1/4 cup of sour cream, cream cheese, or heavy cream? I'm going to try sour cream and see how it comes out.

This was really quick and good. I added some frozen corn to the water while the pasta was cooking. I also added sliced scallion to the finished dish. I used the 40% less sodium taco seasoning packet and didn't salt the pasta water. Worked out perfectly!

Love this! I would just tone down the taco seasoning for my own tastes. My husband loved it as-is, but it was a little salty for my taste.

This was the trifecta - quick, easy, and delicious! I had to make a few substitutions for things I did not have on hand, but it turned out great. I used a can of diced tomatoes with chiles in place of the salsa, and 4 oz of sour cream in place of the cream.

Unlike the other commenters, I did not find it too salty. I'm guessing it could be the brand of taco seasoning used (I used McCormick), or maybe the cheese?

This was actually great and super easy. I will have to agree with the previous reviewer though. It's pretty salty. Maybe lower sodium salsa and don't salt your noodles. This one will be very easy to adapt to suit your own tastes though. I recommend giving it a try. This one will be making it into the regular supper rotation. THANKS!

Holy Saltyness Batman! Let me start out by saying we like salt....we use salt...and we NEVER think things are too salty. I made this according to the recipe with the only exception being that I used whole wheat pasta intsead of white. This recipe was good BUT it was salty....Next time I won't salt my pasta water...and I'll use my own taco seasoning blend (so I can reduce the salt)...and I'll use an entire pound of pasta to it since ours was SUPER saucey for some reason?!?! and I might just throw in some corn and black beans so there is some contrast in there. Great base, and we'll be making again...but just will change it a little! Thanks for the recipe!
