I have come to realize unless I am baking with cream cheese and can’t really taste it then original cream cheese or neufchatel is always the better choice. There’s even just something about the way fat-free looks and spreads… I also really like the garlic salt on top so I’ll try that next time.

We did use reduced-fat crescent rolls, which were actually pretty good. That said, I could tell how these were SUPPOSED to taste and will use Neufchatel cheese next time. I used butter-flavored cooking spray on top instead of real butter, and topped them with garlic salt instead of bread crumbs. These are super easy to make, and are going to be on our favorite list!
