I think it depends on the rice.. I made this dish several times but it never took longer 30-40 minutes.

		<description><![CDATA[I made this tonight and instead of sunflower oil, I used 2 t. olive oil.  I&#039;m on a restricted fat diet so that&#039;s the max I can use.  I added a bunch of fresh spinach and used 2 cups of chicken stock.  It was delicious.  Only complaint, it took way longer than 30 minutes - more like an hour.  I will make this again - it was such a great variation from plain old brown rice.]]></description>
