Delish! I did make some changes - I always do!

no mushrooms, more peppers
1 cup half-and-half and 1 cup skim milk with a few teaspoons of cornstarch instead of all that delcious heavy cream
no white pepper
I sauteed the chicken pieces in chopped garlic and oil

I really enjoyed this, minus the lemon pepper seasoning. I'll definitely make this again and either use less or omit it all together. Thanks!

This was absolutely scrumptious and got rave reviews from my daughter and husband. I did omit the mushrooms (dang the mushroom haters in my house!), used half & half instead of heavy cream, and add some andouille sausage for extra punch. I was asked to put this recipe in my rotation, so its definitely a winner!

I made this last wee and it was really good! I did change a couple of things since I didn't have all the ingredients in my kitchen. . .
I used whole wheat angel hair pasta instead of bowties, I omitted the mushrooms and instead of using heavy cream, I made a white sauce with butter, flour & skim milk. It turned out so great, my husband wants it again this week! Thanks for sharing!
