I added some salt and mustard powder out of habit, used shells instead of elbows, and reduced the cooking time to 15 minutes because I was hungry. I didn’t find the beer to be overpowering (I used an American lager), and honestly I don’t think the average person would know there was beer in it unless you asked them to guess the mystery ingredient.

I also think it needs a little dash a salt or even cooking the noodles in salted water because the parmesan wasn’t enough saltyness, but that’s more of a preference for each person.
