Thanks for sharing such a yummy recipe! Since we rarely eat beef, I used an elk sirloin steak instead and allowed it to sit in the soy sauce/sugar/cornstarch mixture for about 3 hours. Will definitely be going into the rotation!

This is a wonderful recipe. My family of 4 (2 teenage boys) love stir fries so I doubled the recipe. We have just enough left over for my husband and me for lunch tomorrow. Simple and delicious.

This was absolutely delicious! I "doubled" the recipe and ended up guessing on measurements with the sauce, so I ended up having a lot of extra sauce, but while reheating the leftovers this kept things nice and juicy. I will definitely be using this recipe again!

Well congratulations, you have managed to create one of the most amazing recipes I've ever made, apparently! My husband went crazy. Between stuffed mouthfuls, he kept saying, "Oooo the sauce...the sauce!!" I didn't have any oyster sauce so I subbed in some beef stock and the juice of half an orange.

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful recipe! I'll be making it again...and again..and again, I'm sure.

This was great! I didn't have chicken broth on hand (what?!) but I just added water and it actually made the sauce thicker which I like.

I could definitely see adding more veggies to this dish like zucchini, bamboo shoots and carrots.

The recipe was simple and easy to use and so tasty!

We LOVED this one! Finally a take-out favorite, made at home, that tastes like the real deal. Plus you know everything that's in it. I think next time I'll add some salt to the steak while it's hanging out for 20 minutes. I undercooked the broccoli so that it wouldn't be too mushy for leftovers. I might even add in some chopped cashews and bamboo shoots next time. I'd also like to use a fancier mushroom too. My husband says he would love this every week. Thanks for the keeper!

I made this recipe, and feel it is totally brilliant! It tastes precisely like restaurant prepared Beef and Broccoli; the only difference is that you eat it at home and have to fill your own water glass!

I added carrots (because I had them), and actually cooked it in a dutch oven instead of a wok. This isn't an anti-wok statement, I just haven't one in my wee kitchen. It all worked out perfectly fine.
