I tried making this tonight...but it was hard with the vague instructions, and I did some improvising (used 1/2 teaspoon on all the spices and upped the brown sugar and the oil because the teaspoon didn't even coat the pan). Really isn't my thing and I absolutely love balsamic vinegar--I have been know to drink it straight out of the bottle! I know that if I don't particularly care for this dish, that hubby won't go for it at all. Sorry, but this really isn't satisfying to me and didn't smell that great cooking either.

This sounds really good, but I'm a bit unclear as how I'm suppose to cook the vinegar and sugar. In a sauce pan on the stove? If so, what heat setting?
