I have made this recipe about a half dozen times now and it seems to get better each time I make it. I used half and half instead of milk and that made the sauce much creamier than the times I used milk. Also when I used milk, I had the problem of it turning out too dry. Don't skip the gorgonzola, it is so good on this. I also season my chicken really well with a cajun seasoning before cooking it up in my cast iron. I find the bolder flavor works well, as you couldn't even taste the chicken I used the first couple times I made this because of all the flavor from the cheese buffalo sauce. This is a really great recipe that my whole family and company all LOVE!

This was wonderful! Hubby loved it and so did I. THe combination of flavors was wonderful and not overpowering, especially since the gorgonzola isn't added until the end.

I really liked the flavor combinations in this but it was pretty dry after baking. I will try it again but double the sauce amount and maybe add some cream cheese for added creaminess since that is what goes into the buffalo chicken dip that I make and love.

Loved this! Baked pasta dish plus fresh greens!
The mistake I make was at the store :( I could not find the hot sauce I usually use for buffalo chicken dishes and grabbed what I thought would be the next best thing, but when I had already poured in the hot sauce my husband noticed the label. "habanero hot sauce" We ate it still loving it and took some tums :)

I thought this was very good. My sauce didn't thicken but once I baked it, the sauce was perfect. It was a little too spicy for my kids but that was probably my fault for being to generous with the buffalo sauce. In my haste to get food on the table I forgot the gorgonzola, and in my laziness I left off the green onion and cilantro.

I had high hopes for this recipe but was underwhelmed. The cheese sauce was far too thin and all of the noodles sucked up most of the sauce during cooking so it came out rather dry. Drizzling the buffalo sauce over it fixed the dryness but without that it would not have been nearly as good. With a thicker, creamier cheese sauce this would be excellent.

I have made this twice now! A hit in our household for sure. I had to turn down the heat a little on the second batch, using only 1/4c of the hot sauce. Delicious!!
