Reason #1: I really liked the original “authentic” recipe I used back-when but cannot find it. Reason #2: My husband (then boyfriend) said he “hated it” the last and only time I ever made the dish for him. Fast-forward 10-years later. My husband has become more open-minded, less picky, and less of a general wuss about trying new foods. I made this recipe for him tonight. He liked it. He really liked it. He even said, get this, that he’d take the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Incredible. Thanks for the great recipe!
