This is very good....with a few changes. Definitely cut the sugar in half, one cup makes it sweet enough! I also cut the lemon juice in half and replaced the other half with cider vinegar. Then I added a dash of red pepper to give it a little kick. All 3 of my kids love this as well as my husband and myself!

Nice apple flavor and super tender pork, but way too sweet. I added some vinegar to make it a bit more palatable, but if I make it again I'll definitely reduce the amount of sugar in the sauce.

Delicious! So easy and such a unique flavor. The applesauce really makes this great for a fall evening. Next time I make this I will decrease the brown sugar - it was a little sweet for me but my kids and husband loved it!

Fantastic sauce! We have to limit our sugar intake for our kids though, so as a slight modification, we used only 1 cup brown sugar and then only 3 Tbsp of lemon juice. We also only added 3/4 of the sauce to the meat and put 1/4 of the sauce on the table for people to add extra which was really nice. Great recipe!

I made this at the weekend having recently acquired a slow cooker. I was thrilled with how easy it is to make, and so delicious! I only needed about half the sauce as my pork joint was smaller, but have added extra sauce as i make sandwiches as it is so yummy.

This recipe is insane it's so easy! I put the loin into the slow cooker right at bedtime. This morning I shredded the meat and put it in the refrigerator while I made a different slow-cooker recipe. After I had that going I quickly made the sauce and mixed it in with the meat. I made myself a sandwich and put the rest in the fridge to cool, so I can portion it out, freeze it and vacuum pack it for lunches.

The pork is very juicy, and the sauce is sweet with a hint of tart to it. I had to stop myself from having seconds!

This recipe is going into my regular rotation for whenever pork loins are on sale. Thanks for sharing it with us, realmomkitchen!
