I have substituted with a little olive oil before and it tasted pretty good, but not quite the same. :)

WCSG – My husband’s parents were just in Sweden not too long ago. They’ve been there several times and love it. I tried a recipe that my MIL gave me for Kladkaka…yummy stuff!
