Description

Easy 4-ingredient recipe for homemade dog treats.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (any Kind) Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Smooth Or Crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Milk

Preparation

Mix flour and baking powder together. In another larger bowl, mix peanut butter and milk. Gradually add the dry ingredients. Mix well and roll onto a floured board. Roll into 1/4-inch thickness; cut into desired shapes.

Bake on a cookie sheet (greased or ungreaded, it didn’t seem to matter). Bake at 375ºF for about 15 minutes, turn over and bake another 5 minutes.

Cool completely, then treat your dog. Serve with a fresh bowl of water.

my puppies approved, they sat and watched and waited for them to bake in the oven.

Just made these with whole wheat flour and my dog loves them! I got about 48 cookies with the cookie cutter I used, so I have plenty to share with my neighbors’ dogs AND my sister’s dogs! Thanks for the great recipe!

This is a great recipe and you only need 4 things! Not only did my little poodle love these but I passed them along in goodie bags to neighbors for their dogs. These treats are crunchy like crackers not those rock hard things you get at the store. Make them!

These were quick and easy to make, and my kids (aged 4 and 2) loved helping me. My dog can be picky but she scarfed these down. Great recipe! Thanks for sharing!

My puppies seem to really like these. They are so easy to make. If I broke the price down I’m sure they are less expensive than store bought.
