This is a HUGE savings! My border collie loves Frosty Paws, but they’re so expensive and who knows what’s really in them? I love how easy this was to make and my girl loved it! Thanks for the recipe!

Hi Chrystal. Yes, she was a Bernese Mountain Dog. Unfortunately we lost her in October but I also have a 6 year old male and a 7 month old female Berner.

Ooh, I bet my dogs are going to LOVE this… they’re already used to yogurt, and I doubt they’ll mind the other ingredients. Great idea, and I nice change of pace from the frozed chicken parts I usually throw at them when it’s really hot.

Made these for our pooch and he gets his dessert after dinner, when we do, and he loves them! If we forget, or don’t have dessert (perish the thought!), he comes to “remind” us (by staring at us long and hard until we figure out we forgot to give him his dessert). Thanks!

What a great idea! I made these for my little maltipoo, Sophie. Since peanut butter is one of her all time favorite things, I added quite a bit extra and it smelled delish! She loved it!!! And my 2 year old niece thought it was great that she could give Sophie “ice cream” when she came over to our house to visit. I will be making this again very soon!

Took 5 minutes from start to freezer, including clean up – couldn’t be simpler. My husband says if the dog doesn’t like these, he’ll eat them!

I’ve been making this for my 4-legged child for years. An alternative to cupcake pans is to get a dozen or so reusable (I think they’re 2oz, about the same as an individual kiddy ice cream serving) plastic storage tubs with lids. (Glad and Rubbermaid make them).

Place the containers on a cookie sheet, and fill the containers. I use 12, but you could stretch it by adjusting how much you fill the cup based on the size of your pooch. Place the sheet in the freezer. Once they’re frozen, you can stick the lids on and stack them.

Wash and reuse the containers! My boy gets one every night, and the containers are handy for traveling!
